From the legendary Pierra Menta to the Sellaronda Skimarathon and the ISMF World Cup in Schladming, the past week has been a showcase of grit, endurance, and tactical brilliance. POMOCA athletes delivered standout performances across all events, securing multiple podiums and proving once again their strength in the sport.
Pierra Menta 2025 – The Ultimate Team Challenge
The Pierra Menta is known as one of the toughest team races in ski mountaineering, demanding both physical endurance and perfect synergy between teammates. This year’s edition was no exception, with Xavier Gachet & William Bon Mardion delivering an outstanding victory in the men’s race after four intense stages. The duo showcased exceptional teamwork, navigating the technical terrain with precision to secure the top spot.
The battle for second place was just as intense, with Mathéo Jacquemoud & Samuel Equy claiming silver after a tight race. Their resilience and strategy kept them in contention throughout the event.
On the women’s side, Axelle Mollaret & Lorna Bonnel dominated from start to finish, proving once again why they are among the sport’s elite. The duo controlled the race and crossed the finish line as undisputed champions. Meanwhile, Katie Schide & Martina Valmassoi fought hard to secure third place, rounding off an incredible week for POMOCA athletes.
Sellaronda Skimarathon – A Nighttime Epic
A legendary night race through the Dolomites, the Sellaronda Skimarathon is one of the most prestigious events in the sport. This year’s race was particularly challenging, with fresh snowfall and a shortened but demanding 37 km course.
In the men’s race, Davide Magnini & Federico Nicolini delivered a spectacular performance, taking the victory and showcasing their speed and endurance. William Boffelli & Alex Oberbacher fought hard to secure second place, while Matteo Eydallin & Robert Antonioli completed the podium in third.
The women’s race was equally thrilling, with Giulia Compagnoni & Noemi Junod leading from the start and crossing the finish line with a commanding victory in 3h25'. Their team dynamic and strategy ensured a dominant performance on this high-speed course.
ISMF World Cup Schladming – Precision, Power & Speed
The ISMF World Cup in Schladming brought two days of high-intensity racing, with POMOCA athletes once again leaving their mark on the competition.
🏔 Vertical Race

Tove Alexandersson claimed her first Vertical win of the season.

Emily Harrop put in a strong performance to secure silver.

Alba De Silvestro fought hard for bronze, rounding out the podium.

On the men’s side, Rémi Bonnet continued his dominance, while Maximilien Drion du Chapois battled to secure third place.
