ISMF WORLD CUP 1 - COURCHEVEL (FRA)
After eight months of anticipation, the ISMF World Cup finally returned, kicking off in snowy Courchevel, France. The excitement began on Saturday with the Sprint Race—a dynamic, fast-paced, and future Olympic competition that kept everyone on edge.
In the men’s race, POMOCA athlete Oriol Cardona Coll (ESP) launched his season in spectacular fashion. The reigning European and World Champion continued his dominance, finishing 1st—a perfect start to the season!
On the women’s side, it was a POMOCA 1-2 finish! Two-time overall World Cup winner Emily Harrop (FRA) delivered a commanding performance to claim victory on home snow, while Switzerland’s Marianne Fatton followed closely to secure second place.
Sunday brought the Vertical Race, a pure uphill battle testing the lungs of every athlete. On the women’s side, the POMOCA Race Pro Vertical Skin powered the top two finishers: Axelle Mollaret Gachet (FRA) and Emily Harrop (FRA), who showed outstanding form. Despite battling a slight illness, Axelle displayed remarkable strength to take the win. Alba De Silvestro (ITA), also using POMOCA skins, delivered a strong performance to claim fourth place behind Austria’s Sarah Dreier.
Stay tuned as the World Cup continues—our POMOCA athletes are just getting started!
