A New Milestone for POMOCA: The Inauguration of Our New Headquarters
On November 21, 2024, we proudly opened the doors to our new headquarters and production facility in Chavornay, Switzerland. This momentous occasion marks a new chapter for POMOCA, where our heritage, innovation, and commitment to sustainability converge under one roof.
We were honored to welcome Isabelle Moret, Vaud State Councillor, to the event. Her recognition of POMOCA as a key contributor to regional innovation and economic growth reaffirmed our mission to lead responsibly, both locally and globally.
We were equally delighted to host members of the Oberalp Group, including our President, Heiner Oberrauch, whose vision has guided us through this transformative journey. In his address, Mr. Oberrauch spoke of creating spaces that embody the essence of a brand. Our new headquarters is just that—a reflection of who we are: Swiss innovators, pioneers in ski skin technology, and stewards of the environment.
The design of our new building, inspired by the Suchet and Chasseron peaks, symbolizes our deep connection to the mountains. With a capacity to produce up to 500,000 ski skins per year, modern workspaces, and sustainable features such as 1,200 m² of solar panels, this facility is more than a factory—it’s the heart of POMOCA.
This new home allows us to meet growing global demand while remaining steadfast in our commitment to Swiss quality and environmental responsibility. Whether through our PFAS-free production or upcycling initiatives, we are proud to lead the industry with solutions that reflect our values.
This day was about more than just cutting a ribbon—it was about celebrating our journey and looking ahead with our partners, collaborators, and supporters. We are excited to continue innovating and building the future of ski touring, moving #AlwaysForward.
